After living in New York City I wondered what could be next for me in terms of fun and culture filled cities. I wanted to improve my Spanish, so Latin America was naturally a point of interest. I ended up in Bogota by chance, attracted by a job offer. And now Bogota is my home. I take such pride in sharing this city with my friends and their friends (and their friends) when they come to visit, which is becoming more frequent with each passing month. Without the right tips to get your feet wet, it might feel like there is nothing for you in Bogota-- but it’s not true. My hope is that you will use this site as base to find your own way in this city, and that your presence will make it a better place.
