Thick crust with lots of toppings, that's what Pizza 1969 is all about. We really like it, but some people don't. They have a huge menu that also includes pastas and salads. The delivery can take up to an hour, so order before you get too hungry.

One of Bogota's newest restaurants, Gordo, prides itself on it's Brooklyn-style food and drink choices.  And while the food is rich and flavorful (with one of the best burgers in town) and the drinks are superb, one of the best features of Gordo is its continuous playlist of great American songs.  Kick back in comfy couches or on the patio and enjoy some homemade pretzels, a delicious cocktail, and catch up with new and old friends while listening to some American jazz, classic rock, or some golden oldies...it's bound to be a good time!

Muebles & Accesorios is one of the best place in Bogota to buy simple and pretty home items. Nothing of designers (so incredibly expensive in Bogota), but you will definitely find what you are looking for as they have a large selection at very reasonable prices. They also have real sales (as many store just boost their prices and then give you a 20%), so worth checking out for them.

Masa is a new bakery in la zona G that makes a wide variety of fresh bread and pastry made the same day. They also offer a complete breakfast and lunch menu. The breakfast sandwich is very delicious and for sweets, check out the cup cakes and almond croissants.

Harry Sasson, famous chef in Bogota, has struk again. Last June he opened his new restaurant in a beautifully renovated house in a residential neighborood. The very sofisticated menu is quite expensive but worth a try. You will also find a vast selection of wine and liquor, which is sometimes hard to find in Bogota. Go in a taxi as there is a limited amount of parking in the area, and valet parking can be very expensive.
