Simple, well-crafted, and functional leather is what TM Cuero is all about. Work with Cesar to create a customized bag for you, or learn to do it yourself at one of their leather working courses. Check out their website for more info and pictures of some products. We love the portfolios and cartera teca.

Modern Mexican in Bogota's trendy Macarena neighborhood. Your evening begins with a choice of delicious cocktails-- we recommend the jalapiña. At the same time, the bilingual head chef and owner will ask you about food preferences and allergies. She will explain that there is no menu at Agave Azul, and that you will be sent course after course until you tell her to stop (it's a hard decision, because you will want to know what comes next as your belly is bursting). Selections vary according what is fresh, available, and in season. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. Don't miss the special place. One of Bogota's best restaurants!

A restaurant/lounge where you can step out of the hipster world into the more artsy side of town. Very laid-back atmosphere with some great mix of indie rock and some older classics! Definitely a place to go for a first date or just to be around an older crowed (25 to 40).

La Taperia is the big cousin of the Tapas Macarena, with the same Dutch/Colombian owner. The menu is very similar and very delicious. We each chose two tapas and placed them in the middle of the table to share. The bread with brie and caramelized onions is a must. Keep in mind that they don't serve dessert here, but there are plenty of options nearby. The atmosphere is casual and friendly.

Radio Berlin is the new hip bar/club. On the main floor, you can hear a mix of folklor fusion/cumbia/salsa and hip-hop beat and downstair, they have some DJ's invited to spin on special occasion. If you want to see the young Jet Set crowed of the city, that's the perfect place... Although you will probably not know that you are sitting beside a famous Colombian soap opera star. Just take a guess!
