It can seem hard to find pretty and simple jewelry in Bogota. A lot of designers prefer to make big, busy pieces with a lot of colors. Don't get me wrong, some of them are beautiful, but if you are looking for something you can wear everyday and at a great price, this designer won't let you down. Everything is hand-made with high quality silver and can be adjusted to your size within a few day, at no extra cost. The address below is their "Atelier" and if you can make it there it's the best since they have the whole collection. However, you can also find their creations in many stores throughout in the city.
Address: Carrera 2B #66-28, Bogota

Local artists congregate in Usaquen to showcase their crafts. Great place to buy art for your apartment, presents, or just walk around and "window" shop. It's worth planning your time in Bogota in order to be here on Sunday, since this market only happens once a week, and it's really worth going!
Address: Carrera 6 with Calle 116 (or just ask a taxi to take you to Usaquen), Bogota
Colombia's big box superstore. The quality is good, and you will notice a significant difference in your receipt if you do your weekly shopping here as opposed to Carulla or Carrefour. Keep in mind that it is often difficult to find imported products at Exito. For a list of stores in Colombia, go to the website's homepage and scroll down to the bottom of the page to "puntos de venta".

It's our Home Depot, but along with the construction materials you will also find items for the home. The almencenes (stores) tab on their website didn't work for me, but the one we usually go to is at Avenida 68 with Calle 80.
